We’re thrilled to welcome back a familiar face—Kali Aber has rejoined CommSoft as a Senior Solutions Support Analyst on our Customer Success team!
Kali is no stranger to CommSoft or to the telecom world. She originally worked here from 2013 to 2020, and for several years prior, she’s been on the other side of the table as part of the Shentel team—a longtime CommSoft customer. With seven years of experience at CommSoft, followed by seven years as a customer, and now returning to the fold, Kali brings a truly 360° perspective. Her deep knowledge of our platform, paired with her understanding of customer operations, makes her an incredible asset to both our internal teams and our clients.
Whether she’s creating how-to videos, delivering training sessions, or jumping in to solve a complex support case, Kali is known for her thoughtful, knowledgeable, and engaging approach.

Kali lives in Pennsylvania on a small farm with her partner and two children. A proud “plant nerd”, she’s passionate about gardening, a talented home chef, and a certified adventurer—she’s even been scuba diving in the Caribbean!
When she’s not elbows-deep in flowerbeds or troubleshooting customer workflows, you’ll probably find her catching up on home renovation shows, cooking competitions, or the occasional "Married at First Sight" binge.

After nearly three decades of dedication, laughter, and legendary multi-tasking, Steve has officially retired from full-time life at CommSoft—headset and all (yes, the one that’s been around since Walkman days). As of December 31st, 2025, he’s traded code and CABs for quality time with his grandkids and a few long-overdue home projects.
A Swiss Army Knife in a Sea of Tools
If you’ve worked with Steve, you know: no question was too obscure, no issue too tangled. From Usage Rating, Capital Credits, and Carrier Access Billing to Interfaces and Line Equipment, Steve did it all. And as a key member of our Customer Success team, he often tackled the oddball questions nobody else could—earning him the unofficial title of “Swiss Army Knife of Support.”
All In—On and Off the Clock
Steve wasn’t just a backend wizard. He was also a frontline face at nearly every CommSoft event, including our annual Users’ Conferences. Whether he was dressing up in a hula skirt for a Hawaiian-themed party or photobombing his way through a scavenger hunt, Steve brought humor and heart wherever he went.
And let’s not forget his commitment to the Corporate Challenge 5K, year after year—literally running his tail off for the team.
Not Goodbye, Just “See You Around”
The good news? Steve’s not disappearing entirely. He’ll continue with CommSoft in a part-time role, sharing his wisdom and supporting the team—just with a little more time for life’s other adventures.
So while we raise a virtual toast to Steve’s well-earned retirement, we’re grateful it’s not a farewell, just a well-deserved shift in pace. Thank you, Steve, for 30 amazing years of dedication, wit, and unmatched expertise. We can’t wait to see what this next chapter brings—for you and for CommSoft.
